Google AdSense revenue generation, changes in anchor ads

This article introduces Google AdSense anchor ads and how to set them up regarding blog revenue generation.

 

Google AdSense has announced that Anchor ads will be applied from July 19, 2021 (Fig. 1).

More information is that anchor ads can be applied to wide screens such as desktop environments after July 19, 2021 (Fig. 2).

If you do not set it up, it will be applied automatically.

Anchor ads stick to the edge of the user's screen and appear at the top or bottom of the user's screen (Fig. 3).

When shown at the top, anchor ads only appear after the user has scrolled down far enough, so that they never cover your site's branding or navigation (Fig. 3).

If you don't want to turn on anchor advertising, you can turn it off in Google AdSense settings.

If you want to turn off anchor advertising,

press the 'Edit' pencil button on Google Adsense (Fig. 4)

and turn off anchor ads on the right panel (Fig. 5).

f you don't turn off the anchor advertisement setting separately,

it will be automatically applied, so I would like to check this before July 19, 2021.
