Review of U.S. Visa Arrival Process

Introduction

 

This article introduces the visa delivery and arrival process after the US Visa interview.

 

 

Visa Receipt Method

 

There are two main ways to receive a visa after approval.

 

1. Received a visit to the U.S. Embassy
2. Delivery Receipt

 

For delivery, the U.S. Embassy will only deliver via Ilyang Logis,

and there are two ways to receive it from home or visit Ilyang Logis' office.

 

Woojoodream has chosen to receive at home.

Typical Visa Arrival Time

 

Typically, after a visa interview,

the visa will take 3-5 business days to arrive at your home.

 

However, sometimes it can be delivered faster.

 

In the case of woojooream,

the visa was approved on the day of the interview

and was sent on the morning of the interview,

and I received the visa around 9:30 a.m. the next day.

In other words, I got a visa in a day.

 

Visa Arrival Process of Woojoodream

 

At around 8:50 a.m. the day after the interview,

an e-mail arrived from Woojoodream informing them of their visa delivery and tracking numbers (Fig. 1).

The U.S. Embassy uses Ilyang Logis, so I checked the shipping of Ilyang Logis (Fig. 2).

 

 checked the delivery and it was already in the area.
I finished the interview at 9:45 a.m., but the delivery started around 2:50 p.m. on that day.

Woojoodream was not at home,

but after seeing that it was impossible to receive the visa if it wasn't you,

I contacted the delivery man and asked him to adjust the delivery time.

 

The delivery man said it's okay if it's not him, so the agent received it.

The package has arrived (Fig. 3).

I removed my passport from the package and checked the attached visa (Fig. 4).
